I've noticed no difference based on the day of the week Jun 7, 2018

I've noticed no big difference based on the day of the week, let's say that I get most of my requests on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Friday is almost always very quiet (contrary to what I hear quite often some of my fellow Prozians say I usually don’t receive translation inquiries for work on a Friday). In over 40 years I can’t remember ever receiving a translation request on a Sunday, and I’ve received no more than a handful on a Saturday…

... always when I start to plan some quiet time for the weekend (didn't have a weekend off since months!). Freelancer's life;)

No difference really Jun 7, 2018

Although sometimes I get things on a Friday afternoon/evening, which doesn't bother me, as I don't usually mind working weekends as long as I'm not already overloaded.

No difference when I receive jobs, but ... Jun 7, 2018

They all seem to want to receive the work back by COB on Friday. Like somebody's going to be poring over it on the weekend...

That Friday feeling Jun 7, 2018

One or two of my more significant clients have the habit of making high-volume, short-deadline requests between 5 and 6pm on Fridays.

Of course I don't mind that, if I work weekends I take days off during the week, but just saying....

I receive translation requests ... Jun 8, 2018

any day of the week. One of my clients tends toward Thurs. or Fri. I can't seem them as "offers" since I'm the one offering the service.
