I am a freelance translator born in Kielce, educated in Krakow (Spanish Philology at the Jagiellonian University, postgraduate translation studies at the UNESCO Chair for Translation and International Communication at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow), and with several years of experience, including working as an in-house translator for a renowned construction company.
Working as an in-house technical translator for a large Spanish construction company, I translated hundreds of pages of all sorts of technical specifications related to road and bridge construction from Polish into Spanish.
What is more, in 2019/2020 I completed a 5-month traineeship at the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission.
As far as CAT tools are concerned, in order to provide an even wider range of translation services, I work with SDL Trados Studio as well as MemoQ by Kilgray.
I am most passionate about languages, linguistics, film and theatre. I am also a bookworm.
