Kildetekst - English As an extreme form of system protection for privileged accounts and high-risk applications, such as production of extremely high value funds transfer transactions, specific systems or network services may require automatic terminal identification. In these cases, authorised individuals shall use specified terminals with automatic terminal identification to initiate specific actions or receive specific transactions. In order to maintain the security of the terminals, dedicated private lines or a network user address checking facility shall be used. Risk assessment of high-risk applications and privileged accounts should address automatic terminal identification as a countermeasure for specific risks, when appropriate.
