After graduating from university and working for major international corporations in Germany, I turned my passion for languages into a career and started my own language school and translation service in the Dominican Republic.
Since 2010, I have been exclusively concentrating on translations and interpretations, working for a wide range of customers including two renowned global translation agencies where I am holding leading senior positions in my language pairs.
For two years, I also worked as an official for cultural affairs and public relations at the German embassy in Santo Domingo.
In 2018, I also became a certified legal translator/interpreter accredited by the Judicial Branch of the Dominican Republic, before taking up residency in Brussels, Belgium.
Over the years, my scope of activities has expanded into the operational field, including topics like linguistic quality assurance, localization assessment, and customer satisfaction among others. I am currently holding an in-house position.
It is my understanding that excellent quality can only be obtained through strong expertise, personal commitment, and a comprehensive approach to developing efficient customer/client relations. I genuinely enjoy my work and the responsibility that comes with it.
