I have done freelance translations for several years and have the last two years translated regularly. I have lived in the UK and Spain and so acquired extensive linguistic and cultural knowledge. I currently live in my native Finland.

The languages I work with are:

I have intermediate level skills in a series of other languages; Dutch (Belgium), German, French, Portuguese and Russian.

I translate into Swedish, my mother tongue. I specialize in philosophy and social science related texts (with a degree in philosophy and minoring in gender studies). Through supplementary training in information science, I have acquired the knowledge and the skills to be able to swiftly determine reliable terminology in a variety of fields.

In addition to translating, I work with writing in different forms. Especially, I've worked as the editor of a journal, as a university teacher and as an independent investigator, and so have solid experience in producing high-quality text.
