Bio

I have set my mind on becoming a translator during my time at university, but the road here hasn't been easy. Gathering enough experience to provide professional services that the clients demand requires a great deal of work.

After many unsuccessful attempts, when I was considering changing my career, I was finally able to find my field - audiovisual translation. My skill there proved enough to satisfy Sferastudios, a major supplier of subtitling services, in May 2016. Ever since then, I have worked in the field of subtitling, gathering experience and working with different suppliers, such as ComTranslations.

Along the way, my experience in audiovisual translation also allowed me to acquire a proficiency in marketing and PR translation, which I used to secure a contract with Keywords International, a major studio working for many large-profile clients. Translating for them allows me to broaden my experience beyond strictly AV translation.

In the future, I hope to get into the field of video game translation, so I remain on lookout for opportunities to gather experience in it.
