Bio
I lived 7 years in Japan where I followed different cursus which allowed me to learn and practice the Japanese language and also the Japanese culture. I am graduated from Bukkyo University as Bachelor in Human Sciences (BSc with speciality in Buddhology). During my studies in Kyoto I conducted several literature translations, the book "Introduction to Happiness" is one of them. (collection of poems, Introduction to Happiness). I've also been involved in the n°7 "Debate on a taboo", n°6, 5 and 4 of the Kitano newspaper.
Back in Belgium I've pursued my education with a Master in Philosophy (MSc) at the Free University of Brussels from where I graduated in 2011, I'm now busy preparing a PhD thesis around the work of Ômori Shôzô on Japanese philosophy. One of the aspect of this PhD require me to perform advanced translations of original texts from ÔMORI Shôzô as such content is not yet available in French, recently I made a 6 month research work at the University of Tokyo where I translated in French several articles.
In parallel, I'm also working since 4 years as Interpret and Translator for the First Court of Brussels as legal translator, I also providing my services to different private entities.
My areas of expertise are mostly literature and legal translations (laws, statements, contracts, official documents, trade register, etc... from Japanese to French) but thanks to my 7 years experience in Japan I can easily adapt to other areas.

Thank you in advance for your attention to my profile and do not hesitate to contact me if you need more informations.
