I am a professional ES/FR/CA>EN freelance translator.
I mainly work with life sciences but can also work with marketing, legal and administrative texts.
With regards to my education, I have a Master's degree in Healthcare, Administrative and Legal Translation and Interpretation from the University of Alcalá (Madrid) Spain, an undergraduate degree in French and Hispanic studies from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, and a C1 in Catalan language from the Institut Ramon Llull.
Concerning my professional experience, I worked for six months as an Internal Translator at the Escola Universitària d'Infermeria i Teràpia Ocupacional in Terrassa (Barcelona), where I translated life science and administrative texts from Catalan and Spanish into English. I also worked for three years as a Senior Internal Translator at a global translation company in Barcelona. In this company, I translated life science and marketing texts from French, Spanish and Catalan into English, but as well as translation, I proofread, carried out final eye tasks, localisations, target checks, QM steps, machine translation post-editing and much more.
I believe high quality linguistic work should be respected, so I ask for a fair price for my work, time and effort.
