I am Juan Mego, a Peruvian translator and subtitler with over five (05) years of experience in the translation industry. My language pairs are EN/PT>ES, and my specialty areas are computers, technology, and tourism.

Also, I am a Technician in Office IT with a great domain of CAT tools, such as Trados and memoQ, which allow me to work with many different types of files.

For subtitling projects, I mainly use Aegisub, Subtitle Edit, and Subtitle Workshop.

Regarding my professional experience, I have worked with several translation companies:

- Magma Traducciones, a translation company based in Brazil. I have worked with them on translation and subtitling projects from Portuguese to Latin American Spanish. The topics were diverse, ranging from marketing to technical translations. 

- Scientech Traducciones, a translation company based in Mexico. I worked with them translating some tourism websites and several technical documents from English to Latin American Spanish. I also had the chance to proofread other texts my colleagues had translated.

- Voicebox, a translation company based in the UK. For this job, I translated some IT and marketing texts from English to Latin American Spanish. I also translated subtitles for corporate videos from English to Latin American Spanish.
