I am a Freelance Mandarin > English translator, editor and writer. After getting a BA degree in journalism and political science from the University of Pittsburgh, I moved to Taiwan to work. I took four years of language classes and worked there for seven years. Now I am working on an MA degree in Chinese linguistics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.


I have held several jobs in which I did Mandarin > English translation. These include:
Taiwan News (news, photo captions and inter-office communication)
I-Mei Foods (menus, ads)


I also did editing and proofreading in the following positions:
