Marian S. Greenfield is owner of msgreenfield Translations. She has served in various roles in the translation industry for over thirty years. Marian was Manager of Translation Services at JP Morgan. She translated in New York's Financial District for 20 years. Marian is a full-time translation industry consultant, Trados Studio instructor and freelance Spanish, Portuguese and French into English financial and legal translator.
In addition to offering translation and translation industry-related presentations and workshops throughout Latin America, Europe and the U.S., Marian is an Adjunct Instructor of Translation at The University of Chicago and has been an Adjunct Associate Professor of Translation at NYU and a visiting Professor of Translation in the Master's in Translation Program at the University of Puerto Rico. Marian is a former Board Member and Past President of the American Translators Association and currently chairs ATA’s Professional Development and Ethics Committees. She is also a former Treasurer and Past President of the New York Circle of Translators.
For recreation Marian enjoys whitewater kayaking, working out and training for triathlons.
