Rammen skal fremstilles sådan at den kan oven- stables

Danish to English Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping stacking and stowing for transport
Illustrationen viser en svær maskindel i en fuld stålramme.
Rammen skal fremstilles sådan at den kan **oven- stables,** med 1000 kg/m2.

This comes in instructions for ´packaging´ - or protecting heavy machine parts and other bulky items for shipping.

These items are probably too large or unwieldy to be put in containers, and therefore have to be packed and handled individually. The picture is not actually very helpful from a translation point of view. It shows some vague cylindrical item with a few projections, which are carefully kept within a steel frame.

This frame is duly welded and so on, and has to be stackable.
I am fairly certain that it would not be stacked on top of anything else, but that the expression means it has to withstand other items being stacked over it up to the weight specified.

Has anybody seen this expression?

Most of the text is actually reasonably clear and simple... Thanks for any help!

stacked / (vertical) stacking

I think it just means that the frames can be stacked on top of each other according to the stated max capacity. Perhaps you can change it to plural (the frame are produced in such a way that enables verticale stacking...).
Now, personally I don't like vertical stacking any more than I like "ovenstable" (in what other direction are you supposed to stack things?"
