Discussion

philgoddard Oct 13, 2011:
In that case the answer can't be anything containing the word "partner". It means "shareholder" or (in my suggestion) "owner".
Simon Davies (asker) Oct 13, 2011:
Hi Phil, It's a sociedad anónima.
philgoddard Oct 13, 2011:
Is it a company or a partnership? The translation of "socio" depends on this.

shareholder-director

ya.
Peer comment(s):

neutral AllegroTrans : and "consejero"?; and "director creativo" following the term?

Yawn, if you know anything you should know that director is NOT director.
neutral philgoddard : Allegro has a point. This would be correct in other contexts, but I don't think it works here.

advisory partner

to deal with the whole phrase I would say "the advisory partner and founding director"
Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : He's not a partner - it's a limited company.

co-owner

As FVS points out, he is a director and shareholder. However, calling him "shareholder director and creative director" would be wrong, and "co-owner and creative director" would be better.

This person's identity is easy to Google, and he is widely referred to in the English-language press simply as "creative director".
Peer comment(s):

neutral AllegroTrans : I associate "co-owners" with properties but not limited companies
