Turkish term
DİĞER ALACAK SEN. REESKONTU
Turkish to English
Bus/Financial
Accounting
Dear colleagues,
I do not speak Turkish. I am translating The Turkish Chart of Accounts from English into Russian. In some cases, I doubt whether the initial Turkish-to-English translation is correct. As Turkish descriptions are available to me too, I’d like to check some of my suggestions:
Balance Sheet Account 137 DİĞER ALACAK SEN. REESKONTU
In my file it is translated as DISCOUNTS ON OTHER VARIOUS RECEIVABLES
I’ve found on the Internet another translation of this Chart of Accounts, which suggests "Discount of other notes receivables"
http://www.ctp.bilkent.edu.tr/~sevin/uca.htm
Is it really about “notes”?

: Changing someone's earlier words around into a monstrosity. This is not proper English financial language.
