الاسم رقم الموظف الوظيفة: أخصائي أشعة المرتبة و التسلسل : 50|14623 الجنسية

I was wondering what المرتبة referred to - whether it is referring to the pay grade of the radiologist and the التسلسل as the payroll number. I just put 'Grade/Serial No' but sounds a bit vague. If anybody has any idea with references in Arabic/English that would be most appreciated :)

Sian_Trans (asker) Jan 29, 2017:
I am thinking المرتبة in this context might refer to job 'category' (perhaps each job category is given an ID number??) after reading page 8 of the user manual: http://empupdate.moh.gov.sa/UserManual/UserManual.pdf

grade and serial number

I think you are correct in your thinking, Sian_Trans, that they are looking for pay grade and payroll/employee number.

I would not use "rank" here. At least in the U.S., that usage is limited almost entirely to military contexts.
Note from asker:
Yes I agree about rank. Thanks for your feedback :)

المرتبة: Rank التسلسل: Serial number

This is likely the case as we are dealing with a doctor/specialist details.

Grade is more appropriate than "rank".

grade and hierarchy

One could say grade and hierarchy or level and hierarchy. The UN uses levels, other employers use grades. The hierarchy develops according to the years of experience before you move to a higher grade or level.
In some jobs, you hold the same grade or level forever but the hierarchy or tasalsul changes. When you start with Grade A, after three years you have A3.
