No, sorry if I wasn\'t very clear, Timothy. What I meant to say was that there are two things:

laboratori = laboratory
estabulari = animal facility (or even \'animal unit\' perhaps?)

I hope that makes it a wee bit clearer:-)

I know Martin is right in his definition of the word \'estabulari\' but I can\'t help wondering whether the word \'farm\' is correct here. What about \'de granja\'? See the reference below - I think this may even be part of the text you are translating. I\'d say that \'animals de granja\' would be \'farm animals\'. However here I believe they are referring to animals bred in animal facilities (units) for research purposes in laboratories etc. Animals such as mice, rats, rabbits etc. I don\'t think I would call them \'farm\' animals in English though.

I realise that the word is being used as an adjective here - but I\'d say they meant \'animals bred in animal facilities\' - which is not very elegant, I know. \'Farm\' sounds far more elegant, I agree, but I just don\'t know that it would be correct.

In the end, I may be wrong - but I even think you might not need to repeat \'laboratory\' and \'animal facility\' (or \'animal unit\') - maybe \'breeding laboratory animals\' might be sufficient for the course title.
