後段を読まないと決めかねますが、創造的な、別格の、すぐに使用可能な、といったところがIBM用語にあり、ここでは「すぐに使用できる機能性」でしょうか。ほかに、副詞的な用例として「なんと」、と訳す場合もあります。

これまでに出会った事例では、面倒な設定もオプションのケーブルも必要なく、"パッケージから出して"すぐに使える、といったニュアンスの用例が多かったように思います。
