My experience is that when one technical term is given and another is provided in parentheses in a case such as this, the meaning is that the one in parentheses corresponds linguistically to the English term. Based on what I see of the usage of the two Hebrew terms, there doesn't seem to me to be a difference.

David, is there no additional significance to "rovetz"? (trying to figure out why they used that word and then put floating in parentheses).
