Does anyone know the meaning of the expression "hacerse llamar" in the following context: "Ha acudido a curanderos en 3 ocasiones para "hacerse llamar" pues no puede estar tranquila." (The context is a medical certificate about health of someone involved in an airplane accident.Patient feels nervous after accident.)

El susto

Todos nos hemos asustado en la vida, pero el susto que aflige a los pacasmayinos es una enfermedad metafísica. Cuando alguien está asustado, es porque su alma ha salido del cuerpo. Los síntomas son: falta de apetito, palidez y debilidad en general.

Al salir el espíritu del cuerpo vaga por los cerros, lagos o a veces está cautivo por el brujo "malero". La curación se realiza haciendo volver el espíritu a su cuerpo, trabajo muy difícil, pero no imposible para el curandero.

Con el afán de recuperar el espíritu, el curandero realiza danzas misteriosas, ingiere bebrajes de hierbas y cañazo. Se entrega a luchas imaginarias con terribles dragones, contorsiona el cuerpo como un verdadero guerrero, hasta lograr rescatar el alma del poder del enemigo y hacerlo entrar al cuerpo. Si logra hacerlo el enfermo sana de inmediato.
