Discussion

Henry Hinds Aug 1, 2008:
Is is rather odd. But in our work it sometimes happens. People do not always think when they write, so it's just part of the territory.
Daniel Parra Jul 31, 2008:
This is a wholesale house, distributing newspapers and magazines. What else do they distribute to small businesses (kiosks)?

Articles. Go with Henry.
Lisa McCarthy (asker) Jul 31, 2008:
Articles makes sense as it´s connected to newspapers, magazines etc. but as Henry pointed out, they are usually included in these. I just can´t picture how they are sold. But as Henry also says, I shouldn´t agonise over it! :-)
Ligia Dias Costa Jul 31, 2008:
Periodicos, articulos y revistas? why doesn't "articles" make sense to you?

articles

Could pertain to written articles since it is between newspapers and magazines, but then articles are normally contained within the latter and not sold seperately. Or it could pertain to articles as tems in general, whatever they may be.

No need to agonize; in any case "articles" would suffice.

I think they are referring to paper goods, like envelopes, wrapping paper, etc

Note from asker:
Hi Maria - I know articulo can mean these things but it seems to be too general - what type of goods could they be referring to? It´s obviously something to do with the Printed press.
