P/N or N-type semiconductor
This is a guess.
Seems unlikely in customer complaints, but on the other hand one obvious meaning of N-ledar is negative-type semiconductors in the field of electronics (Transistors etc are operated either by positive or negative current or voltage).
PEN is more mysterious, unless it is a typo for P/N (positive/negative).
Could it refer to technical faults in the meter?
