How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

"not even ... but rather" is a common enough construction (http://tinyurl.com/sx5ng)
You could also write e.g. "It's not even the show's content/subject matter/premise that makes it so interesting, but rather ..."

To my mind, the construction "not...but rather" has to be used in this case. "Einmal" functions as a particle which emphasises "not".
