Infatti La Crusca prosegue la propria attività editoriale, mette a disposizione del pubblico una Biblioteca specialistica e il proprio Archivio, intrattiene rapporti internazionali con istituzioni analoghe, organizza incontri, seminari e convegni sull’italiano, svolge un ruolo attivo nel campo della politica linguistica europea, in modo particolare con il progetto “Firenze, Piazza delle Lingue d’Europa”.
