Any way to make Transit XV not to stop at numbers?

Hello,

Hope, you do understand, what I mean.
An example:
Part 01
Part 02
...
Part 99

Transit stops at every segment indicating 99% match.
Sometimes I don't need it, especially in large lists.

Any suggestions appreciated. If not possible, confirmation appreciated.

Hmm, is this different from NXT? I seem to remember that NXT beautifully jumps them (yep, there are many good things about NXT too ).

You can always filter on them and set the segment state to Translated ...

just tried NXT - it doesn't "jump" neither!

Perhaps there are surrounding tags? Oct 12, 2012

Perhaps there are surrounding formatting tags that you don't see in the segment content but that prevent perfect matching?

no tags at all, only numbers are highlighted.
anyways, just recorded a macro, so I don't have to press Alt+Enter - Alt+Insert every time. To press one key is not that a big deal.

BTW, I find this behavior of Transit very professional.

Thanks Hans for tuning in - that helped!

Try Matches/Fuzzy options? Oct 12, 2012

In Transit NXT, there is the option to update numbers in matches.
You can check that either under Preferences/Dual Fuzzy or the Matches/Fuzzy Search/Update Matches tab.

Don't remember if that option existed in XV or not, though.

thanks for your input!

Unfortunately, this is not what I'm looking for.

From the User Guide:

Under Update Transit NXT matches, specify how Transit NXT should update the fuzzy matches.

That means, Transit only inserts numbers/tags/terminology into a fuzzy-match segment, you have to confirm it manually.
