EXPERIENCE AS FREELANCE TRANSLATOR


Subtitling

- Translate or review and perfectly adapt timed text templates from English into Spanish.

- Subtitle spotting and synchronization.

- Resolve translation issues, inconsistencies, typos, grammatical and punctuation errors,
timing mistakes and reading speed violations.

- Apply regional knowledge and culture to provide subtitles and closed captions that
work for target audience.

- Create Spanish subtitles for English content from preexisting script translations.

 

Translation for Voice-Over

- Translate TV shows scripts adapted for voice-over technique subject to specific
instructions.

- Include time code of every intervention of dialogues.

- Make translations according to clients' requirements in terms of inserts inclusion,
rude language, currency treatment, etc.

 

Technical Translation

- Translate specialized texts of software, UI and IT, as well as legal texts related to policies.

- Respect client glossaries for consistency among different projects.
