I served as a senior localization editor for T3 Middle - East (a leading regional tech magazine) for 6 years before becoming Web Editor in Chief for T3me.com, an English/Arabic website that publishes gadget and device reviews, news, etc. as well as promoting luxury goods / items.

Translating technical / difficult texts is always a challenging prospect, but having a strong background in the scientific field as well as perfect mastery of the Arabic language is the way to go. And alas, very few Arabic glossaries / dictionaries are up to speed, and rely often on literal translation, something I always like to steer clear of.
