Teddy bear If you know it's a teddy bear, use 'teddybjørn' or 'bamse'. If it could be something like a bear skin or pelt, stay with bjørn. Selges hver for seg is better than selges separat.

HI, yes you are right, in this context it would mean teddy bear, of course. So would that be another word?

Bear means bjørn, so in that respect it is correct, but it makes me curious. It looks rather odd. What is the context? Could it be a teddybear?

No - 'hver for seg' assumes more than one object. Bed, pillow and comforter can be sold 'hver for seg' or 'separately', but bed alone can only be sold separately. Hver for seg means 'each on its own', and the literal pretty much works in actual use.
