Note to other translators: The Russian при when attached to a geographic name/word is usually omitted, e.g., приCaspian, is just Caspian (e.g., Caspian lowland) and definitely not pre-Caspian!, or translated as region, e.g., приOb, i.e., Ob region, etc.
