Hi all,
I am Italian and am writing in this forum because I need to know the Kierkegaard's work which contains this sentence.
"If I want to succeed in leading a persona towards a goal, I have to find out where she is now and start there.

I am Italian and am writing in this forum because I need to know the Kierkegaard's work which contains this sentence.
"If I want to succeed in leading a persona towards a goal, I have to find out where she is now and start there.
Anyone who thinks he can help others without doing that is fooling himself.
To help someone, first of all I have to understand more than she does, but even more important, I have to understand what she understands.
If I cannot do that, knowing and understanding more than she does will not help.
If I still want to show how much I know, than I am vain and arrogant and really want to be admired by the other person rather than helping her.
Real help begins by being humble, and understanding that helping is not about wanting to dominate but wanting to serve.
If I cannot do that, then I cannot help anyone."
I'm looking for the Italian translation and to do it I need to know first the work this sentence belongs to.
Any hints would help!
Thank you
