Hello,
I have to translate into French a PPT-presentation in which the slides are in English and the comment pages under the slides are in German. So I have a ttx-file which contains both languages as source.
Is it possible to translate the slides with my EN-FR TM and to "switch" the TM when it comes to comments? It will surely be tedious, but I can't see another solution. If it's possible, will it cause problems when I clean up the file, or should I "Save as target" only? If it's not possible, how can I proceed?
Regards, Sylvain
PS I think I rather should cut and paste the comments into a Word document and translate them with the second TM, then paste them back in the target ppt-file.
Well, simply translate the EN segments wit the EN TM, and for all DE segments make a "Copy segment" then clean up. Open this new file with the DE TM and make the same now copying the FR (already done) segments.
Rgds

Thank you Toledo,
This is a good way round. But I had already begun to translate the comments in a separate Word document, so I will continue so
