Discussion

Xuchun Aug 1, 2005:
I do not know the full context. But I guess it talks about function call. If this is true, then "call" is more exact than "call and execute". Actually, when we say a function calls another function in a program, literally it means "execute the function".
Non-ProZ.com Aug 1, 2005:
Post-grading Actually, I later found this glossed on the software website as "call and execute" so I guess the full term can also be used...cheers.
Xuchun Aug 1, 2005:
I think "call" alone is ok. When a function is called, it's executed automatically.
Non-ProZ.com Aug 1, 2005:
Thanks so far. So do you think "call and execute" is a possibility? TIA

\"call\" may be more exact.

agree Kurt Hammond : Yes, possibly. or 'calls' ... or it could be same as "を呼び、実行します。"

Thank you Kurt. I agree with your sugguestion.
agree Kazumichi Sato (X) : I agree with you and Kurt. "call"or "call and execute". I think "呼実行" could be an error of "呼び実行".
