silage
I think it must be a misprint for silage. Google turns up no references for vilage except misspelt villages, but sorbic acid is used to treat silage.

: Most likely answer. This reference mentions use of sorbic acid as a preservative for silage and hay, to prevent yeast growth: http://www.gov.mb.ca/agriculture/crops/forages/bja03s28.html

English term (edited):
for vilage
against "spoilage"
I just think they are trying to say something along the lines of "against spoilage", having created "vilage" from "vile" or something of the sort. Who knows what's on the minds of the Greeks...

Ken Cox
: my suspicion as well (and 'preserver' instead of the usual 'preservative' suggests a non-native translation...)

And I suppose they mean flavoring rather than aroma.

It's a long shot but, after all, the translator has to replace it with something that makes sense.

: A really clever answer, brilliantly intuitive, and possibly even right. But it’s a bit of an intellectual leap. A basic typo seems more likely with the minimal context available. Jack D’s answer seems more probable. No offence, and all best wishes …

None taken, Jack. This could well be some sort of animal food. The asker can't rely on my wild guess, so we'll have to wait until the client makes us somewhat the wiser.
