Webster for dishpan hands
\" a condition of dryness, redness, and scaling of the hands resulting typically from the constant exposure to, sensitivity to, or overuse of cleaning materials and other substances that are used in housework\"
Peer comment(s):

neutral Brie Vernier : As I understand it, this is merely about the prune-/raisin-effect after a long bath, not excessive contact with detergents, etc.

neutral Nicole Schnell : "Spülhände". Remember this one? It was Pril or Spüli or similar. If the asker would have asked specifically for dish-washing side-effects, I would agree with you 100%!!!
