It does refer to the markets that are natural to the company based on some kind of competitive advantage the company may have. I.E. a jazz-specific radio station located in Buenos Aires, Argentina has as one its "natural" markets the group of people who live in Baires and like jazz; although a possible "non-natural" market for the radio that also might be pursued is the group of people who listen to the same radio station on-line from Venezuela and also like jazz. (MBA, Emory University, GA, EEUU)
