Hi!

This term comes form a "Petition of will and for letters testamentary".
There you find the following paragraph: "The names and post office addresses of the Testator's heirs, legatees and devises are:
And ind the field "Status" you find: "HLD. Does it stand for Hold?. I'm not sure. Can anyone help me?.

Yes, HLD is the only value in the "Status" field...

Just a guess.

STATUS The status of the job schedule entry. If specified,
it must be declared as *CHAR LEN(10). The value
returned will be SCD (scheduled), HLD (held), or SAV
(the entry is saved).
