Because of the extreme danger of potentially fatal electric shocks as well as fire hazards, the physical location chosen for the treatment should be carefully considered. The carbon rods will spatter slightly during operation, and the small, hot, spark particles can easily start a fire or drop onto the surface below, either burning it or discolouring it, so I would recommend
setting up the rig in a basement or garage.
