Both terms did appear on various google hits, but I appreciate Sue´s distinction. Indeed I had thought to comment that cellulitis is an adipose tissue disorder which may manifest itself in an edema, but that it wasn´t a cosmetic-treatable issue.

agree María San Raimundo Vega : Very true; although in Spanish both the infection and the cosmetic condition are named "celulitis" , the English term for the second meaning is cellulite

Desde luego es la traducción literal, pero no sé si médicamente esos son los términos empleados en inglés, ya que buscando en google no aparece nada o casi nada.
