Primary Risk

Just another option...
Example sentence:

The primary risks covered by the policy far outweigh the secondary risks not covered.

Note from asker:
Thank you for the suggestion you made. However, it wasn't meant in the context of primary, secondary, etc.

You're welcome. However, my main suggestion does refer to "Pojištění na 1. riziko". Please see Google: "First loss insurance"--about 404 hits.

Your choice also refers to "Pojištění na první riziko"--it has about 48 hits.

There may be a difference but I am not an insurance expert on the Czech and/or global markets to tell it. So I would suggest to find an English definition of the term "First-risk insurance" or to ask an insurance agent.

I don't even know your context so I just gave you two other entries for "pojištění na první riziko" from my dictionary and the Google stats.

Not at all. Good luck and if you find smtg pls let us know! Thank you.
Note from asker:
Thank you for your suggestion. However, I believe this has a different meaning.
As far as I can understand (and please correct me if I'm mistaken!), there is a difference between the two. This is from definitions found, as illustrated: Pojištění na první riziko - pro pojištění na první riziko si klient stanovuje individuální pojistnou částku, která je zároveň horní hranicí pojistného plnění v pojistném roce. To umožňuje pojistit takové předměty, u nichž se pojistná částka nedá přesně stanovit, popřípadě se během pojistného období mění, jako např. peníze v trezoru, movité věci během transportu, apod. OR FIRST LOSS INSURANCE (1) Popularly used, an insurance policy which is called upon to pay a loss before others covering the same risk. (2) A contract written in such an amount as to cover only an insured's expected loss during the policy period with no other insurance in existence. OR A policy that covers only a single loss during the policy period or that provides coverage of multiple locations for only the first loss at each location during the policy period. Also, a policy whose limits are reduced (and not reinstated) by loss payments.
Thank you once again for all your suggestions! I will try and find out if I can.
