No seré "native speaker of Spanish" pero mi esposo sí lo es, es pastor de una iglesia y hemos estudiado la biblia desde la niñez, hace más de 50 años, así que estoy bastante segura.

Sorry, I don't know about your Council of Stewards. You need to find out whether there is a specific, "official" or preferred translation within the church in question. If not, I would use "Concilio/Consejo de Mayordomos."
