I have many japanese friends, and I want to know to say some basics:

(1) My favorite place is ___.
(2) My house is in the same town of ___.
(3) My room is on the 2nd floor.
(4) My house has no garage
("Garage" and "house" i believe are "gare-ji" and "uchi")

Romanization PLEASE.

Sorry, it is written \'ha\' in Japanese, but pronounced \'wa\'.

neutral mkj (X) : Totally agree on 1) and 3). For 2), I just don't hear any Japanese say it this way. Wouldn't your version mean "the same town as..."? 4) gare-ji ga is more neutral since "wa" is often used for emphasis and comparison.

watashi no uchi ha onji ... to iu machi ni arimasu.

(3) My room is on the 2nd floor.
watashi no heya ha ni kai ni arimasu.
(but if you mean the second floor above ground level then that is the 3rd floor in Japanese and this is
watashi no heya ha sangai ni arimasu

(4) My house has no garage
uchi ni ha gare-ji ga arimasen.

(\"Garage\" and \"house\" i believe are \"gare-ji\" and \"uchi\")

by the way \"ha\" is pronounce \"wa\" in this case. It is only written \"ha\" for out of convention

(1) Watashi no sukina basho wa

Japanese does not emphasize on 'my house' etc. Too Americanized and not agreeable in Japanese culture.

2) Watashi mo _______ ni sunde imasu.
This Japanese expression sounds more natural to me. It literally means I also live in ______. "The same town of" is apparent when you mention the name of the town.

3) Watashi no heya wa nikai desu.

4) Watashi no uchi niwa gare-ji ga arimasen.
