I'm tempted by "construction cooperative", but this may not be accurate. I don't think "construction boutique" works, so you're probably stuck with a paraphrase.

: The "boutique" seems an appropriate option. "Бутик" is a shop or mini market trading in construction materials. definitely not a construction company. as such

: Um, no, probably not if one wants to sell anything or present the experience in a good light. "It went over like a ton of bricks" means the idea or project flopped.
