Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering

automatic feed time (per unit)

I think a more common term to describe a machine sending a workpiece onward is 'feed.'

So this would be "automatic feed time," or even "auto feed time."

"With an even more compact design, automatic feed times per unit of output have been reduced."

Good luck.

agree Ruth Sato : I think that it may not be possible to translate this directly into English, so perhaps this is a good equivalent.

agree Minoru Kuwahara : i think i may have seen a similar way of referring to 自給 for Rotary Press before. -

automatic workpiece mounting time

自給時間 implies some what like a machine has a function to mount a workpiece by itself automatically.
