Tłumaczenie ma być z polskiego na angielski. Podany jest termin angielski"sentence" (może sentencje? :)). Na szczęście co do samego tekstu objaśnienia mam pewność całkowitą. Gwoli wyjaśnienia - system operacyjny Windows miał dwa nurty rozwojowe, które się w pewnym momencie zeszły. Jeden - od 3.0 (wcześniejsze były nieudanymi eksperymentami), poprzez 95, 98 do Me, i drugi - od kolejnych wersji Windows NT (aż do 4.0) aż do 2000. Oba spotkały się w XP. Nurt 95, 98 etc. był właściwie kontynuacją DOS-a i oparł system plików na formacie FAT (File Allocation Table), najpierw 16-, potem 32-bitowym. Natomiast nurt NT (2000 etc.) przyjął odrębną organizację systemu plików: NTFS (NT, tj. New Technology File System). Obecne wersje Windows obsługują (wspierają, jak się mówi w branży) oba systemy plików, ale, jak widać, dla napędów USB "czemuś" wymagane jest formatowanie NTFS.
