Spanish term

yo que sé a un campamento simplemente de verano

Spanish to English Other Medical (general) Interviews with patients
Several times the expression "Yo que sé a"
I'd like to hear how you feel this is being used in this particular situation.......

Context:
Patient's relative

I dunno...to a summer camp or something like that.

My answer related mostly to "yo que sé"...an equivalent slang expression in Am. English would be "I dunno," expressing a certain degree of uncertainty regarding the subsequent comment. Meanwhile, my general answer is designed to keep the general tone and meaning, since using "simply" in the translation would, IMO, change the actual meaning of the phrase.

I don't know, to a camp simply for the summer

To me, campamento simplemente de verano means the camp is just, or simply, for the summer.

(you're simply going to send the kids) what do I know, to summer camp

Tough thing about this is making natural sense of the way the Spanish mind is configured to form sentences. But in this part of the statement, the parent seems to be concerned with barely living up to being a parent. Suggestion.
