En las subestaciones de secundario selectivo, la demanda máxima ajustada se calculará suponiendo que el interruptor de acoplamiento está cerrado.
Los interruptores automáticos o manuales de "acoplamiento", tendrán la misma capacidad que los interruptores de acometida y siempre una capacidad continua superior a la mayor demanda de cualquiera de las barras colectoras, pero nunca inferior a la mitad del valor nominal correspondiente a cualquiera de los transformadores, con refrigeración ONAF.

A spanish manufacturer of substations and similar has "feeder" as the translation for acometida in their glossary, and "switch" for interruptor in general, although circuit breaker for interruptor automático
