"Golpe seco" o "relieve seco" es una técnica de impresión, o más bien de grabado (porque no se usa tinta, de ahí lo de "seco") para marcar imágenes o letras en relieve sobre una cartulina, cartón, etc. La traducción al inglés sería "blind pressing" o "blind printing". Puede ser también "embossing".

no estoy segura, pero por el contexto es lo que parece.
Interpreto golpe seco como tiro seco, que en imprenta es la línea de doblez que se marca mecánicamente para fines de doblez.
