In the end, the answer came from the client... ...who uses the generic term "mounting tool" to refer to this really rather specialized tool. I think this sounds like a cop-out, but if that's what their people call it, I guess it's hard to argue.

More context This isn't a tool that holds something (a mandrel), it's a tool that loosens something, hence the "Loese" part...so while I thank you for your assistance, I suspect this is not yet the correct tool name. Perhaps I should have said more about the context before; here is the quotation "Zum Lösen des Leiters lässt sich die Klemmstelle mit einem gewöhnlichen 1,2 mm Lösedorn öffnen."
