Instructions on how to bid for a contract
I would appreciate comments on how I've translated this sentence. I'm not sure that I'm understanding the meaning.
The entire sentence reads:
Die Inbetriebnahme in unseren Werken gehört mit zum Auftragsumfang und wird bitte gesondert angeboten.
My tentative translation is:
Start-up in our factories is associated with the order size and it is requested that bids be made separately.
I know this does not sound good, but I feel like I have translator's block.
Any help would be much appreciated!

is included within the scope of the order
The gist of it is that the order is not only for the equipment, but also for the equipment to be put into operation, however the client would like a separate quote for putting the equipment into operation.

: that's the usual translation. Umfang has to be scope in this context. Size won't work. not 100% sure about Auftrag-is it order or contract here?

: Stefani: maybe it has to do with the customer's internal charging or accounting procedures, but yes, I think it does make sense
