Russian term

Турбореактивный двухконтурный двигатель

Russian to English Tech/Engineering Aerospace / Aviation / Space
F101 - двухвальный малодымный ТРДДФ модульной конструкции со степенью двухконтурности около 2.

context is here:

http://www.airwar.ru/enc/engines/f101-102.html

There is also an engine: ТРДДФ, and I'm assuming the "Ф" stands for "with afterburner" (с форсажом), however this may not be correct.

Thank you.

Turbofan engine (TFE)

see

you don't need to specifically mention "двухконтурный " though you may say "bypass turbofan engine" if you wish

Russian term (edited): Турбореактивный двухконтурный двигатель с форсированной тягой

Augmented turbofan engine

ТРДДФ = Турбореактивный двухконтурный двигатель с форсированной тягой
It is a two spool engine (двухконтурный), though (see the 2nd link) the designation is often shortened to "augmented turbofan". That is also the reference about the General Electric F101 engine you mentioned in the context.

Reference:

I suppose it's called двухконтурный because it has two air streams.
