This bookstore sells books on budhism, and we can see the title of \"thus I hear\". Considering that this phrase is said by Sutras, this translation can be rather authentic. I presume that this title would be translated by someone who knows much about budhism, and I think we can rely on what authorities say.

This is what I heard

"The Lotsu Sutra" translated by Burton Watson (Columbia University Press) is a good reference.
The Lotsu Sutra as well as many other sutras begins with "This is what I heard". "I" refers to Ananda who was one of the ten major disciples of Shakyamuni Buddha and led the task of compiling Shakyamuni\'s teaching after his death.
